Eagles RB Will Shipley could miss "multiple weeks" after suffering a partial tear of his plantar fascia during Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Philadelphia is now dealing with injuries to its top 3 RBs. Saquon Barkley is working back from a hamstring injury and is uncertain for Week 6. Tank Bigsby is out at least 3 more games with his core injury. Shipley's absence left Dameon Pierce in an every-down role against Jacksonville. Carson Steele was active but didn't play a single offensive snap. Jaydon Blue remains on the Eagles' practice squad. We'll see if Barkley can make it back for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers, but we could be looking at a heavy workload for Pierce.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley is considered "week to week" with the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It’s not considered to be a long-term injury," Rapoport adds. Barkley is a near lock to miss this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars and should be considered iffy for Week 6. With RB Tank Bigsby (core) heading to IR, Will Shipley is the last RB standing on Philadelphia's 53-man roster. RBs Dameon Pierce and Jaydon Blue are on the practice squad. We'll see what moves the Eagles make this week, but Shipley is a good bet to lead the backfield against Jacksonville, making him at least a RB3 or flex option. That contract total ties D'Andre Swift for 13th at the position in total money, according to Spotrac. The average annual value ($8 million) ties for 16th, also with Swift. Williams' first season in Dallas found him ranking 10th in the league in total carries (ninth in carries per game), ninth in rushing yards, eighth in rushing TDs, and 10th in PPR points per game.

The matchup gives this backfield plenty of fantasy upside, but it's completely unclear how work will be divvied. Blue boasts an exciting combination of big-play and pass-catching ability but was not able to earn a role all season. Mafah, a seventh-round rookie, is more of a between-the-tackles grinder at 234 pounds. This will be his first action of the season. We'd avoid the situation in season-long leagues, but you can take fliers on Blue and/or Mafah in daily tournaments.
