Joe Burrow Trounces Ravens in Return

        5:28am UTC 11/28/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow returned from his turf toe injury in his first action since Week 2. The first half showed some rust with Burrow missing a few TD passes and the Bengals settling for 4 FGs. But he bounced back for a strong second half. Burrow’s final stat line was 24/46 with 261 yards and 2 TDs.

Joe Burrow Officially Back For Week 13

        12:56am UTC 11/27/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) put in a full week of practice and was officially activated from IR on Wednesday afternoon. He'll start Thursday night's game vs. the Ravens. It'll be his first action since Week 2, and he won't have WR Tee Higgins. That has Burrow sitting lower than usual in the Week 13 QB rankings. But there's upside well beyond that ranking. Burrow smoked this Baltimore defense for 392-5-1 and 428-4-0 passing lines last year (with that second game coming without Higgins).

Joe Burrow On Track For Week 13 Return

        8:13pm UTC 11/24/25

Bengals HC Zac Taylor stopped short of guaranteeing that QB Joe Burrow (toe) will play vs. the Ravens on Thursday night, but he said he "anticipates" him getting the start. Burrow, meanwhile, posted "He's back" on his social media on Monday. All signs point to him making his return for this game against a division rival that he smoked for 392-5-1 and 428-4-0 passing lines last year. Burrow will be a risk/reward Week 13 fantasy start in his first action in more than two months -- and without WR Tee Higgins.

Joe Burrow Had No Setbacks, Trending Toward Week 13 Return

        1:05am UTC 11/23/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow did not suffer any setbacks with his toe injury this week, according to insider Albert Breer. The team decided on Friday to hold Burrow out of this weekend's game vs. the Patriots and get QB Joe Flacco first-team reps in the final practice of the week. "The team's quick turn, having to play on Thanksgiving, was a determining factor," Breer adds. "He's trending towards playing vs. the Ravens on Thursday." We'll keep you updated on Burrow's status next week, but it sounds like fantasy owners will get him back for a game against a defense he torched for 820 yards and nine TDs in two meetings last year.

Joe Burrow Won't Play Week 12

        2:46pm UTC 11/22/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) will not play vs. the Patriots on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Burrow was a full participant in Wednesday and Thursday's practices and seemed to be trending toward a return for this one. But he was limited on Friday, while QB Joe Flacco took the first-team reps. Assuming Burrow didn't suffer a setback, he should have a good chance to play vs. the Ravens on Thanksgiving night. We'll keep you updated on his status next week. Flacco gets another start tomorrow. He's played well since arriving in Cincinnati but is coming off his worst outing of the season last week and won't have WR Ja'Marr Chase against New England. That leaves him as just a QB2.

Joe Burrow Questionable For Week 12

        5:27pm UTC 11/21/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. HC Zac Taylor said Friday that he still hasn't decided whether Burrow will return for this one. "Feel comfortable waiting as long as we can with this decision," Taylor said. "[Burrow] has done everything he can to try to make himself ready to go." Cincinnati has until 4 pm ET on Saturday to move Burrow to the active roster. Stay tuned.

        Joe Burrow Full-Go Again Thursday

        10:55pm UTC 11/20/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) put in his second straight full practice on Thursday. He took snaps with the first-team offense in the portion of practice open to the media. "The plan was to see how Burrow responded today after being full yesterday. Looks like... pretty good," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted. ESPN's Adam Schefter said this morning that there's a "real possibility" that Burrow returns for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots, and that's looking even likelier now. We're now projecting Burrow to play this weekend, although he'll do so at less than 100% and without WR Ja'Marr Chase. See where Burrow and the rest of the Bengals land in the Week 12 Rankings.

Joe Burrow Expected to Play Week 12?

        5:54pm UTC 11/20/25

ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes there’s a “real possibility” that Bengals QB Joe Burrow plays in Week 12. The comment comes from Thursday's episode of The Adam Schefter Podcast. Recall that Burrow was listed as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Joe Burrow A Full Participant Wednesday

        2:14am UTC 11/20/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He took part in 11-on-11 work for the first time since his Week 2 injury. It'd be surprising if Burrow was cleared to return for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots, but we're not completely ruling it out at this point. We'll keep you updated on his progress.

Ja’Marr Chase and the Bengals’ Offense Can’t Replicate Past Success

        5:34am UTC 11/17/25

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase went 3-30-0 on 10 targets against the Steelers on Sunday. Just three weeks ago, he went 16-161-1 on 23 targets against this same Steelers defense. QB Joe Flacco struggled throwing for 199 yards with a TD and INT in the game. The Bengals offense was only able to muster 12 points.

Joe Burrow Most Likely To Return Week 14

        1:21pm UTC 11/16/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow's most likely return date from his toe injury is Week 14 against the Bills, according to NFL Network. Week 13 against the Ravens on Thanksgiving night is also still on the table, per Rapoport. Burrow reportedly plans to return this season regardless of Cincinnati's record. He had an impressive week of practice, participating in individual drills and 7-on-7 work. "I'm not going to say I'm impressed because that's how it always looks," HC Zac Taylor said on Wednesday,. "But he was really sharp." We'll continue to keep you updated on Burrow's progress.

        Joe Burrow Return Window Opens

        6:06pm UTC 11/10/25

The Bengals announced Monday that QB Joe Burrow has been cleared to start practicing on a limited basis. The announcement comes two months after he suffered a Grade 3 turf toe vs. Jacksonville in Week 2. He had surgery on Sept. 19 and was expected to miss at least three months. This return to practice means the team now has three weeks to either fully activate Burrow or end his season. The end of that decision window would hit between the Week 13 visit to Baltimore and a Week 14 trip to Buffalo. How the 3-6 Bengals fare over the next three games will likely factor into that decision.

        Joe Burrow Back In December?

        2:02am UTC 10/17/25

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (toe) is "on track" to be back on the field by mid-December, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said before the team's Thursday night game vs. the Steelers. Burrow is one month removed from surgery to repair a Grade 3 turf toe and has had no setbacks, per Rapoport. Burrow "has told people close to him he absolutely intends to be back. Just needs the team to stay alive until then," Rapoport adds. That last point is key. We doubt the Bengals would bring Burrow back this season if they're eliminated from playoff contention. The 2-4 Bengals look much better under QB Joe Flacco, though, and are in an AFC North that's up for grabs. If they can pick up a handful of wins with Flacco, it sounds like Burrow could be back for Week 15 against the Ravens. He'd probably be a risky fantasy start in his first game back, but Burrow could be a factor in Week 16 and 17.
