View AllRome Odunze Has Stress Fracture In Foot
Bears WR Rome Odunze has been playing through a stress fracture in his foot, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. It's unclear when Odunze suffered the injury. He was on the injury report with a heel as far back as Week 9, but this week is the first time he's been listed with a foot. Pelissero adds that Odunze "just needs rest and is week-to-week. The belief is it’s nothing long term and he’ll be back soon." We'll keep you updated on Odunze's health going forward, but he seems more likely than not to miss multiple games with this injury. His absence leaves behind 7.5 targets per game, boosting the fantasy outlooks on WRs Luther Burden, D.J. Moore, and Olamide Zaccheaus and TE Colston Loveland.
Colston Loveland's Hip Injury Not Serious
Bears TE Colston Loveland's hip injury is not believed to be serious and he has "a chance" to play vs. the Raiders this weekend, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll keep you updated on Loveland's progress throughout this week. Although he was seemingly set to play a bigger role before exiting the Cowboys game, Loveland shouldn't be in your Week 4 fantasy plans even if he ends up playing. But this report makes TE Cole Kmet a less intriguing waiver-wire target as a Week 4 spot starter.
Luther Burden Should Return For Training Camp
Bears WR Luther Burden III hasn’t practiced since rookie minicamp in early May due to a soft tissue injury. However, HC Ben Johnson said this week that Burden's on track to suit up for the start of training camp.
