D.J. Moore Active, Olamide Zaccheaus INACTIVE

Bears WR D.J. Moore is active for tonight’s game vs. the 49ers; WR Olamide Zaccheaus is inactive. Both guys were added to the injury report this morning with illnesses. It adds some risk to Moore’s fantasy outlook. (We saw Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan catch just one ball after being added to the injury report with an illness this morning.)

D.J. Moore, Olamide Zaccheaus Now Questionable

The Bears have added WR D.J. Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus to the injury report as questionable for tonight's game against the 49ers because of an illness. Players typically play through illnesses, so we're not taking them out of the Week 17 rankings. But make sure you have an insurance option available if you're planning to start Moore. If he's out, Burden and TE Colston Loveland would get target boosts. We'll get their statuses around 7 p.m. ET.

Luther Burden "Day To Day" With Ankle Injury

Bears HC Ben Johnson labeled WR Luther Burden "day to day" with the ankle injury that knocked him out of the Week 15 win over the Browns. "Still something that we’re working through and talking about," Johnson added. "We’ll see how this week goes, in terms of whether we’ll have him Saturday night." It at least sounds like Burden dodged a serious injury, but consider him iffy for Saturday night's game against the Packers. With WR Rome Odunze likely to miss that one with his foot injury, Chicago could be down to WRs D.J. Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus. We'd expect TE Colston Loveland's role to expand in that case.

Rome Odunze Has Stress Fracture In Foot

Bears WR Rome Odunze has been playing through a stress fracture in his foot, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. It's unclear when Odunze suffered the injury. He was on the injury report with a heel as far back as Week 9, but this week is the first time he's been listed with a foot. Pelissero adds that Odunze "just needs rest and is week-to-week. The belief is it’s nothing long term and he’ll be back soon." We'll keep you updated on Odunze's health going forward, but he seems more likely than not to miss multiple games with this injury. His absence leaves behind 7.5 targets per game, boosting the fantasy outlooks on WRs Luther Burden, D.J. Moore, and Olamide Zaccheaus and TE Colston Loveland.

Rome Odunze Out For Week 14

Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. We don’t have any details on this foot injury, but Odunze didn’t practice all week, so this could turn into a multi-game absence. D.J. Moore, Luther Burden, and Olamide Zaccheaus will operate as Chicago’s top three WRs against Green Bay’s 17th-ranked WR defense. TE Colston Loveland could also get more involved.

D.J. Moore Ready For Week 11

Bears WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) is not listed on the final injury report. After sitting out on Wednesday, Moore got in a limited practice on Thursday and was full-go on Friday. He should be ready for his usual role vs. the Vikings this weekend.

D.J. Moore Back At Practice Thursday

Bears WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Vikings this weekend, but we'll see how Moore is listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

        D.J. Moore Sidelined Wednesday

Bears WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. He suffered this shoulder injury in the first half of last week's game but was able to return for the second. We're tentatively expecting Moore to play vs. the Vikings on Sunday but will keep you updated on his status. His absence would free up snaps for WR Luther Burden.

        D.J. Moore Hurts Shoulder

Bears WR D.J. Moore is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Giants due to a shoulder injury. His absence should afford rookie WR Luther Burden more snaps. We'll update Moore's status when we know more.

        Update: Moore returned.

Bears' Top 4 WRs Sidelined Wednesday

Bears WRs Rome Odunze (heel), D.J. Moore (hip, groin), Olamide Zaccheaus (knee), and Luther Burden (concussion) all missed Wednesday's practice. Burden is unlikely to be cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals. We don't have any other info on Odunze, who seemed to make it out of last week's loss to the Ravens okay. Moore has been playing through these injuries for multiple weeks now. HC Ben Johnson labeled Zaccheaus "day to day" earlier this week. We'll see if these guys are able to get back on the practice field tomorrow.

D.J. Moore Will Play Week 8

Bears WR D.J. Moore (hip) is off the final Week 8 injury report after getting in a full practice on Friday. He’ll be ready to play his usual role vs. the Ravens this weekend but remains no better than a WR3 in fantasy lineups.

        D.J. Moore Out Wednesday

Bears WR D.J. Moore (hip) was sidelined for Wednesday's practice. He was on last week's injury report with a hip (and groin) but played his usual role in the win over the Saints. Moore should be fine for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens, but we'll keep you updated on his status.

D.J. Moore Will Play Week 7

Bears WR D.J. Moore (hip, groin) is off the final Week 7 injury report. He was hospitalized after Monday night’s win over the Commanders and didn’t practice on Wednesday. But Moore returned to a limited practice on Thursday and was a full participant on Friday. It all suggests that he’ll be ready for his usual role vs. the Saints this weekend. Moore, of course, has been a fantasy disappointment so far this season, averaging just 9.8 PPR points per game.

        D.J. Moore Out Wednesday

Bears WR D.J. Moore (hip, groin) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Ben Johnson labeled him "day-to-day" yesterday, but we don't have any other details on Moore's injuries. He doesn't seem like a particularly good bet to play vs. the Saints this weekend, but we'll keep you updated on his status. Moore's absence would likely mean a big boost in snaps for rookie WR Luther Burden.

D.J. Moore "Day-To-Day" With Groin Injury

Bears HC Ben Johnson said WR D.J. Moore is "day-to-day" with a groin injury. He was hospitalized after Monday night's win over the Commanders, and we still don't have any further details on the injury. “I think we got some good news in that regard," Johnson said. "I think he’ll be day-to-day going forward. It was a groin deal that he was dealing with, but I think we’re going to be ok.” We'll look for more updates on Moore and watch his practice participation this week. It at least sounds like he has a chance to play vs. the Saints on Sunday.

D.J. Moore Questionable For Week 14, Keenan Allen Will Play

Bears WR D.J. Moore (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the 49ers. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more info on Moore but won’t get Chicago’s inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday. WR Keenan Allen (ankle) is off the final injury report after getting in full practices on Thursday and Friday.

Keenan Allen Questionable For Week 12

Bears WR Keenan Allen (ankle) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Vikings. He was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Friday. We’ll look for further updates on Allen, but he was already an unexciting fantasy option before this news. His absence would boost the target potential for WR D.J. Moore, WR Rome Odunze, and TE Cole Kmet.

Keenan Allen Out For Week 3

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. It's a downgrade from last week, when Allen was questionable on the final injury report before winding up inactive. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 4. His absence this weekend adds target upside to WRs D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze. We also saw TE Cole Kmet's routes and targets climb with Allen out last week.
