The Jaguars have opened the 21-day practice window for LB Foye Oluokun, who missed the past four games with plantar fasciitis. That allows Oluokun to return to practice this week while giving the Jags three weeks to decide whether to fully activate him.
In any of the previous three years, this would mean the impending return of the top-scoring LB in most fantasy formats. But Oluokun saw decreased playing time over the first two weeks -- 85% and 82% -- before leaving Week 3 early.
His fantasy scoring remained good through those two contests. But that lower snap share would challenge the top-shelf tackle totals that drove Oluokun's fantasy production over the past three seasons.
We'll see whether Jacksonville gets back into the LB rotation that opened this year or boosts the playing time once Oluokun's all the way back.
Plantar fasciitis tends to be an issue that a player has to deal with for an extended period, while managing pain. That could factor into Oluokun's playing time as well.
He's worth rostering in nearly all IDP leagues while we watch the details.
Oluokun's return figures to knock playing time back down for Ventrell Miller, who has been running second to Devin Lloyd. Lloyd was also playing smaller snap shares before Oluokun went down. We'll see how the return affects his role.
