49ers RB Christian McCaffrey totaled 19 touches and 107 yards in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay. He played over 80% of the snaps in his 2024 debut.

What They're Saying

Here's McCaffrey after the big road win:

"Nobody wants to be on the field more than me. Just to be out there again to be honest with you... you really realize how much of a privilege it is to play football."

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

HC Kyle Shanahan said at halftime that he “didn’t want to kill” McCaffrey with a large workload because of the hot weather. Well, CMC ended up playing a heavy snap share anyway. And he looked plenty explosive when his O-line give him a lane.

Behind CMC, Deebo Samuel mixed in for 3 carries. Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo saw 1 carry apiece.

Most importantly, CMC avoided a setback in his first game action of the season. Treat him as a high-end RB1 going forward.
