Dalton Kincaid Ties for Target Lead in Return

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid returned from a three-game knee injury for Sunday's win over the Lions. He drew 7 targets to tie WR Khalil Shakir for the team lead. Kincaid caught four of them for 53 yards. But he also trailed Dawson Knox in playing time.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Kincaid played just 48.6% of Buffalo's offensive snaps and ran a route on 58.3% of Josh Allen's dropbacks.

Knox saw a 72.9% snap share and ran three more routes than Kincaid did.

I'd bet on Kincaid's playing time increasing as he puts more space between himself and the injury. But Sunday's playing-time details indicate some risk remains to his role.

A Week 16 home date with the Patriots helps, by likely offering little resistance to whatever Buffalo chooses to do on offense.

Consider Kincaid a near-TE1 option for that game and a Week 17 home date with the Jets.
