Bills TE Dalton Kincaid revealed that he dealt with an "uncommon" right knee injury last season called a Morel-Lavallee Lesion. Kincaid described the injury as “a form of bursitis where basically the skin underneath the knee is filling up with fluid." The injury is believed to have occurred in Week 16, according to Banged-Up Bills' Dr. Kyle Trimble, who adds that "it should heal just fine."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
In addition to the Morel-Lavallee Lesion in his right knee, Kincaid also suffered a PCL sprain in his left knee in Week 10 that cost him the next three games. He didn't reach a 51% snap rate in any of his six games after that injury.
It doesn't sound like either injury will impact Kincaid's 2025 campaign. But they can certainly help explain the disappointing 2024.
Prior to that initial left knee injury, Kincaid averaged 3.6 catches, 36.9 yards, and 0.2 TDs per game, ranking 10th among TEs in PPR points.
That was disappointing production compared to his lofty 2024 ADP. But Kincaid is now going in Round 12 as the 15th TE off the board. He's an intriguing bounce-back bet at that cost.
We'll keep an eye on his health throughout the summer.
