Ja'Lynn Polk on the Chopping Block?

        Ja'Lynn Polk Headshot

Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald doesn’t project Patriots WR Ja’Lynn Polk to make the final roster.

        What They're Saying

        Here's Kyed's blurb on the second-year WR:

"...Polk was limited as he recovers from a shoulder injury. Polk has every opportunity to make us look stupid this summer in training camp. The 2024 second-round pick was a fantastic college player, but he flashed very little as a rookie last season, and head coach Mike Vrabel and McDaniels have no past history with him."

He has seven WRs making the final roster:

        • Stefon Diggs
        • Kendrick Bourne
        • Kayshon Boutte
        • Efton Chism
        • Demario Douglas
        • Mack Hollins
        • Kyle Williams

        Dynasty Impact

Polk's only 23, but he's quickly become a fringe hold in standard-size dynasty leagues. He caught only 12 balls in 15 games as a rookie, delivering just 87 yards.

New England responded by spending a Round 3 pick on WR Kyle Williams and signing veteran Stefon Diggs to a multi-year deal.

We'll see how this position battle shakes out in training camp.
