Saints TE Juwan Johnson described new HC Kellen Moore's system as a "fast-break offense." Johnson added that he's "really excited" about the scheme.

This is Moore's first HC gig, but he spent the past six seasons as OC for three different teams. Those offenses ranged from pass-heavy in Dallas and Los Angeles to the run-heavy 2024 Eagles.
But Moore's offenses have done one thing consistently: Run a ton of plays. All six of his teams ranked top 9 in plays per game. All averaged at least 65 plays per game -- a mark only four teams reached last year.
The 2024 Saints averaged just 60.7 plays per game. We're not projecting them to get to 65 this year because of the big question mark at QB. But we have them for 63.3 plays per game, which would be a meaningful increase from last year.
