The Broncos and WR Courtland Sutton agreed to a four-year, $92 million contract extension, according to multiple reports. That tacks on to the final year of his old deal to keep Sutton in Denver through the 2029 campaign. The $23 million average annual salary on the extension makes Sutton the league's 16th highest-paid WR.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
A fair deal for both sides.
The 29-year-old Sutton isn't getting elite WR money. But it's a nice raise after a strong 2024 season.
Sutton caught a career-high 81 balls for 1,081 yards and eight TDs to finish 21st among WRs in PPR points per game. He ranked 32nd among 84 qualifying wideouts in both yards per route and Pro Football Focus receiving grade.
Denver added to its pass-catching corps this offseason with TE Evan Engram and rookie WR Pat Bryant. But this extension is confirmation that Sutton will remain a big part of HC Sean Payton's offense.
He's fairly priced at his fifth-round, WR23 ADP.
