Packers QB Jordan Love expects to run more in 2025 than he did last season. He went from 247 yards and four rushing TDs in 2023 to just 83 yards and one score last year.
What They're Saying
Love: “I think every game there was a couple options or instances where I could’ve took off and run. I think early on, some of it was with the injury, just not wanting to get out and do as much, but I think even later in the season, there was a lot of opportunities for me."
OC Adam Stenavich when asked if he'd like Love to run more: “Absolutely. I think that’s a huge weapon."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Love’s rushing production plummeted from 2.9 fantasy points per game in 2023 to just 1.0 last season. That drop was the difference between his actual QB19 finish and a potential QB15 finish.
Injuries were the likely culprit. Love sprained an MCL in the opener and suffered a groin injury in Week 8.
But a healthy Love could easily get back to the 14.5 rushing yards per game he averaged in 2023. It's another reason to be in on Love at his QB17 ADP -- on top of the fact that Green Bay is likely to throw more this year than last.
