Rams QB Matt Stafford will work out on Saturday morning, HC Sean McVay said. It'll be similar to Stafford's workout ahead of last weekend's preseason game, when he threw more than 60 passes. "Hopefully [his back] responds a little bit better," McVay said.
More from McVay: "We're trying to get our hands around this as well, so I don't really have much more information other than think we're trying some different things that are hopefully going to be in alignment with getting him back out on the field."
Stafford's back did not respond well to last weekend's throwing session, and he's remained sidelined for practice this entire week. We'll see if this Saturday goes better.
