Colts TE Tyler Warren racked up a team-high 9 targets and 7 catches in Sunday's blowout win over the Dolphins. He added 76 yards, second on the team behind WR Michael Pittman. Three of Warren's catches surfaced on the first drive.
What They're Saying
Here’s WR Michael Pittman (via beat writer James Boyd) with an interesting comment on the rookie. (Pittman finished Sunday’s game with an even better line: 6 catches, 80 yards, and 1 TD.)
“Honestly, it could’ve been even worse (for the Dolphins defense), but we just spread it out so much. We could spam him with targets. He could have 200 yards (with) the way that he plays.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Pittman’s not crazy for his comments. Warren looked strong as a pass catcher, playing well through contact and dodging several would-be tacklers. He also tallied a 73% route rate, racked up an end zone target, and even garnered one carry.
Another intriguing part? The performance from QB Daniel Jones, who completed 22 of 29 passes for 272 yards and 1 TD.
What's Next for Tyler Warren?
Warren will look for a repeat performance this Sunday vs. Denver. We'll see if LB Dre Greenlaw (quad) returns after missing the opener, but regardless, Warren will be a top-8 fantasy TE.
