Niners QB Brock Purdy came away from Sunday's win over the Seahawks with an injury to his left shoulder and a toe injury, according to multiple reports. The toe issue is reportedly more significant than the shoulder. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Purdy's "uncertain" for Sunday's game at New Orleans.
What They're Saying
Schefter: "Kyle Shanahan said the team will see how the practice week goes."

Even if Purdy winds up active for Week 2, we clearly can't head into the week expecting him to start.
Mac Jones would start if Purdy can't go and will be worth a look this week in 2-QB and superflex leagues where he's on the waiver wire.
He likely wouldn't be a huge downgrade for the pass offense. But that might not even matter because of injuries around the offense. Christian McCaffrey and Ricky Pearsall look like the only Week 2 starting candidates in the offense.
Waiver Wire Targets
Fortunately, Daniel Jones, Aaron Rodgers, Michael Penix Jr., and Geno Smith all made themselves Week 2 waiver candidates with solid-to-strong openers.
