Vikings WR Justin Jefferson managed only 3 catches in Sunday night's blowout loss to the Falcons. Jefferson turned the 3 grabs into 81 scoreless yards.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
The Vikings once again presented low pass volume. J.J. McCarthy was under pressure all night and fired off only 21 passes, despite the 16-point loss.
Jefferson’s lone highlight turned up a nifty bit of route running, as he broke free for a 50-yard catch and run just before halftime.
Ultimately, it’s been a tough two-game stretch for Jefferson. McCarthy has struggled outside of one quarter against Chicago. And now, the WR will catch passes from Carson Wentz following McCarthy’s knee injury.
Wentz hasn't been a full-time starter since 2021. And he hasn't been a full-time starter since 2021. The now 32-year-old certainly doesn't project as an asset going forward.
Also note: Jordan Addison is eligible to return from suspension in Week 4.
Continue rolling out Jefferson as a fantasy starter. Just keep WR1 expectations in check.
