After playing over 85% of the Raiders' snaps and logging 21 touches in Week 1, RB Ashton Jeanty dipped to a 55.7% snap share and garnered 14 touches in Las Vegas' 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Jeanty ceded third-down work to Zamir White, who played 21 snaps. Jeanty's struggles in pass protection were a major factor in White's increased usage.
Dylan Laube also played 12 snaps and drew 2 targets.
While the Chargers were trailing the whole game, they were within striking distance. That means Jeanty was not taken off the field in a blowout.
Through his first 2 games, Jeanty is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry. It's been a rough start. It's a little early to start panicking about that or the reduced workload.
