Bills TE Dalton Kincaid was clearly a big part of the team's game plan in Thursday night's win over the Dolphins. He scored a 20-yard TD on a wheel route on Buffalo's first possession and wound up leading the Bills in targets (6), catches (5), and receiving yards (66). Kincaid nearly had a second score from 18 yards out in the second quarter, but S Ashtyn Davis was able to break up the pass at the last second.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Kincaid's playing time remained underwhelming in this one. He registered a 55% snap rate and 63% route rate -- after 60% and 59% route rates in Buffalo's first two games. That's down a bit from Kincaid's playing time when healthy last year (71% through Week 9).
He's continued to draw targets at a high rate when he's on the field (22.5% targets per route). But his target share is sitting at a middling 15.8%.
It's far from a perfect profile. But Buffalo's high-scoring offense certainly boosts Kincaid's weekly fantasy ceiling.
Consider him a volatile, low-end TE1 going forward. The Bills shouldn't have much trouble piling up points the next three weeks against the Saints, Patriots, and Falcons, giving Kincaid plenty of TD upside.
Buffalo then gets a Week 7 bye.
