Texans WR Nico Collins finally had the kind of game you've been hoping to get if you drafted him. Collins racked up 8 receptions for 104 yards and a TD in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. He led his nearest teammates by three targets and three catches, and no other Texan exceeded 39 receiving yards.

Collins reminded us how good he is with a tremendous TD catch in an otherwise quiet performance against the Buccaneers in Week 2. HC Demeco Ryans talked in the wake of that loss about frustration with the failure to get Collins the ball more often.
Sunday's performance looked especially encouraging because QB C.J. Stroud threw for just 204 yards in total. That means Collins accounted for 51% of the team's total receiving yards. He also claimed 32% of the receptions and drew a target on 29% of Stroud's total pass attempts.
It probably won't hurt Collins' target volume that the Houston run game continues to lag.
Expect Collins to remain an easy weekly start. The Texans host Tennessee in Week 4 and then visit Baltimore before a Week 6 bye.
WR Christian Kirk checked in second with eight targets against the Jaguars, in his return from a hamstring injury. TE Dalton Schultz ranked second in receptions (5) and receiving yards (39).
