Devonta Smith delivered a strong 8-60-1 receiving line in Sunday's comeback win over the Rams. His nine targets trailed only WR A.J. Brown (by one) and accounted for 28% of Jalen Hurts' pass attempts for the game.

Smith's TD put the Eagles ahead in the fourth quarter, closing out a big rebound performance for the pass offense.
Philly got off to another slow start in that area, totaling just 17 passing yards in the first half. Nearly all of that went to Smith, who caught both his first-half targets for 16 yards.
The Rams led from 1:20 remaining in the first quarter until just 1:48 remained in the fourth. That trailing game script likely pushed Philly's passing volume higher than planned. But the Eagles will need more passing production going forward, with Saquon Barkley averaging just 3.3 yards per carry through three games.
Smith's role has been fine so far. More passing volume and better efficiency at the team level should help his output (though you should expect the wideout to remain volatile week to week).
Week 4 presents an upside passing matchup at Tampa Bay. Week 5 could favor Smith's usage further with A.J. Brown potentially drawing Denver lead CB Pat Surtain II in shadow coverage.
