Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker racked up a pair of short-range TDs in Sunday's blowout win over New Orleans. Those proved critical, as Walker gained only 38 yards on 16 rushes. He added 1 catch for 12 yards on only 10 routes run. Note: Sam Darnold and Drew Lock combined for only 21 pass attempts.

Walker looked better than his box score numbers indicate. He had runs of 20 and 12 yards called back on penalties. He also had goal line runs from the 3 and 1 yard-line, which will limit his yards per carry number.
The positive matchup vs. New Orleans didn’t hurt; they entered Sunday without DE Chase Young. But going forward, Walker’s value will be heavily influenced by the status of Zach Charbonnet, who missed this game with a foot injury. He didn’t practice all week and was listed as doubtful on the final injury report.
Recall that over the first two weeks, Charbonnet totaled 27 touches – all carries – to 27 touches for Walker. Walker held the edge in target share (8% to 0%).
We’ll see about Charbonnet’s Week 4 status. But keep in mind that Seattle travels to face the Cardinals on Thursday night, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Charbonnet miss at least one more matchup.
