Saints WR Chris Olave tallied 14 targets, 10 catches, and 57 yards in a 31-point loss to Seattle. He led New Orleans in all major receiving categories.

This one was ugly. The Saints averaged only 4.1 yards per play while combining to go just 5 of 17 on third and fourth downs. Spencer Rattler got benched late and mustered only 5.6 yards per attempt.
Still, the solid volume -- Rattler chucked it 38 times on 70 total plays -- produced another strong target share for Olave. This time, he saw a near 36% share against a Seattle secondary missing several key pieces.
The young WR has now seen 10+ targets in three straight games to open the season.
Of course, Olave’s efficiency stunk. None of his 14 targets went for a 10+ yard gain. Rattler also threw just 1 TD, giving him only 4 scores through three games. We wouldn’t be surprised if rookie Tyler Shough is under center within the next few weeks.
Either way, New Orleans’ game plans should remain focused on feeding Olave. He’s a WR3 -- albeit with low TD upside -- going forward.
Next comes a road matchup with the Bills, one that should again produce a pass-slanted game script.
