Diggs only averaged 48.6% of snaps over the first three weeks but played 72.1% in Week 4. That led to a 6-101-0 stat line on seven targets. He was second on the team in snaps (31) behind only Kayshon Boutte (34). Diggs is now 11 months removed from his ACL Tear last season and showed signs of getting back to 100% in this game.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Diggs hit seven targets in the first game of the season, but only mustered six catches for 54 yards (and no score). He only played 29 of 71 snaps (40%) in that game. This was clearly a step up with Diggs running a variety of routes and lining up all over the field before the snap.
More snaps and routes should mean Diggs becomes a startable flex player going forward. The Patriots continue to have a void at WR with Boutte playing the X role and a rotation of players in the other roles including Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas, and rookie Kyle Williams getting snaps.
Diggs with a full-time role should make him a possible weekly flex play. The Patriots continue to be starved for consistent weapons and Diggs still has the opportunity to be their best.
If he was dropped in your league, Diggs is worth adding to the bench.
