Texans RBs Nick Chubb and Woody Marks split their snaps pretty evenly on Sunday. Chubb had 24 snaps with 9 routes run while Marks had 27 snaps with 13 routes won. Chubb ultimately ended with the better fantasy day rushing with 11-61-1. Marks day ended up as only 7-24-0. Neither player caught their lone target.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Chubb’s 27-yard TD scamper in the third quarter cemented a solid fantasy day. The report of his death was an exaggeration despite still playing less overall snaps than Marks today. The two appear headed for a near even split moving forward.
Marks couldn’t get much going on the ground with nearly half his yards coming on an 11-yard run. Though he has been a hot pick up over the last week or two, it doesn’t appear Marks is ready to completely take over the backfield and be a consistent fantasy starter.
With the Texans completely dominating throughout theis game, there should have been more work for the RBs, but that wasn’t the case.
At this point, benching both Chubb and Marks will likely be the best choice. With a near even split in snaps and little use for either in the passing game, there isn’t much upside to either one in PPR.
