49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) did not practice on Wednesday. He suffered a setback in Week 4 and seems unlikely to play against the Buccaneers on Sunday. The Niners have no reason to rush Purdy back with how well QB Mac Jones is playing. It looks like Jones will again be without Ricky Pearsall, George Kittle, and potentially Jauan Jennings this week, which is keeping him outside the top 12 in our QB Rankings.
