Rhamondre Stevenson Dominates RB Touches in Blowout

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson dominated the RB touches for the Patriots with 20 total touches compared to 7 for the rest of the RBs on the roster. He ended with a rushing total of 18-88-1. He also caught two passes for no yards.

2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Stevenson appears to be the lead back moving forward, especially when the game script favors running the football like this one did. The Patriots led 17-13 at the half, then blew up to score 14 unanswered points in the second half.

Stevenson played 49 of 55 snaps in the game for an 89.1% snap rate. That combination of snaps and volume will make any RB a fantasy starter. Look for Stevenson to be a solid RB2 moving forward when the Patriots are favored.

Surprisingly, rookie RB TreVeyon Henderson was out-touched by second-year UDFA RB Terrell Jennings. Henderson only had two runs for 5 yards while Jennings had five runs for 18 yards. Neither had a target.

Stevenson and the Patriots do have two tough match-ups coming up against the Browns and Falcons. After those games could be an ideal time to trade for Stevenson looking toward the fantasy playoffs with a neutral game against the Bills then a positive one against the Ravens followed by another neutral match-up against the Jets.
