Saints RB Kendre Miller has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, according to insider Jordan Schultz. That'll cost Miller the rest of the season and likely mean more work for RB Alvin Kamara going forward.
Dynasty Impact
This is another tough break for Miller, who's struggled with injuries dating back to his college days. His 2025 campaign was off to a nice start, with career highs in:
- Carries per game (6.7)
- Rushing yards per game (27.6)
- Yards per carry (4.1)
- Yards after contact per attempt (3.60)
The timing of this injury should at least give Miller a chance to be ready for the start of the 2026 season. Kamara is signed with the Saints through 2026. And Miller is scheduled to hit free agency for the first time in 2027.
Still just 23, Miller is worth keeping stashed on dynasty benches.
Other Winners & Losers
Miller had carved out a real role in the Saints' offense, which had been impacting Kamara's volume. He averaged 16.3 carries over the first four games of the season but just 9.0 over the next two. With Miller out for most of Week 7, Kamara handled 11 of 13 carries on a 84% snap rate -- his second-highest of the year.
Rookie Devin Neal figures to take over as New Orleans' No. 2 RB but likely won't see as much work as Miller had been getting. Kamara still needs to contend with Taysom Hill -- and a generally underwhelming Saints offense. But he should see enough work to at least be a lower-end RB2 in fantasy lineups going forward.
