Raiders WR Davante Adams had a final stat line of nine receptions on 12 targets for 110 yards and a TD. In a game where the Raiders were trailing for most of the game, QB Gardner Minshew threw the ball 38 times. Adams led the Raiders in targets.
Despite the win, the Raiders offense just isn’t good enough to score many TDs moving forward. The run game was ineffective, averaging only 1.6 yards per carry.
This could limit Adams upside as he won't score a TD every week, while also encouraging the coaching staff to let it fly with QB Gardner Minshew moving forward
The Raiders also have some tougher WR match-ups over the next two weeks in the Panthers and the Browns.
The Panthers gave up two passing TDs this week to Chargers WR Quentin Johnston, but they haven’t had a 100-yard WR yet this season.
The Browns have a solid defense as well, and could limit Adams touches.
