Hat Trick For Cam Skattebo In Week 6

Giants RB Cam Skattebo punched in three rushing TDs in Thursday night's upset win over the Eagles. The scores came from 4, 1, and 1 yards out -- and all showcased Skattebo's trademark bruising running style. The rookie ran with his usual reckless abandon all night, finishing with 98 yards on 19 totes (5.2 YPC). Skattebo had five carries and 50 yards on the Giants' 6-minute, 50-second drive to ice the game at the end of the fourth quarter.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

The fantasy points from Skattebo in this one were sweet. But the better news for his outlook going forward is that he remained New York's clear lead back, despite the return of RB Tyrone Tracy. Skattebo ...

        • Played 71% of the offensive snaps
        • Ran a route on 55% of pass plays
        • Handled 19 of 26 RB carries (73%)
        • And drew two targets (8%)

The playing time was right in line with Skattebo's marks over the previous two weeks without Tracy. The rookie has clearly taken over as New York's lead back -- and he's earned it.

Skattebo and fellow rookie QB Jaxson Dart have sparked this offense. And the offensive line has looked markedly better since getting LT Andrew Thomas back.

Skattebo is looking like a weekly RB2 going forward, despite a challenging upcoming schedule. The Giants head to Denver in Week 7 before a rematch with the Eagles in Week 8. There are easier matchups beyond that, though, including vs. the Bears in Week 10. Overall, the Giants' Week 7 through 17 schedule ranks 12th toughest for RBs.

        Other Winners & Losers

Tracy was the clear No. 2 RB in his return, out-snapping RB Devin Singletary 21 to four. He has very little standalone fantasy value but is worth keeping stashed in most fantasy leagues as the Skattebo handcuff.
