Bears RB D'Andre Swift (groin, personal) is expected to play vs. the Giants on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Swift was seemingly on track to play after putting in a full practice on Thursday. But he was sidelined on Friday and had "personal" added to his listing on the injury report. The pattern makes us believe that the groin is not a big concern heading into this one. The question now is how backfield touches will be divvied after RB Kyle Monangai's big Week 9. HC Ben Johnson said Friday that he's willing to ride the hot hand. "I believe in a guy having the hot hand," Johnson said. "One guy, if he’s feeling it and giving us a spark, we might lean on that a little bit longer." We're expecting Swift to get the start vs. the Giants -- and the first opportunity to get that hot hand. But this is a difficult backfield to project. The good news is that there should be lots of production to go around against the league's 31st-ranked RB defense.
