KaVontae Turpin Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. Lamb said Thursday that he won’t be on a snap count this weekend. He might not be all the way back to 100% four weeks removed from his high-ankle sprain, but Lamb is right back to must-start status. WR KaVontae Turpin (foot) will also be back for Sunday’s game.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that it's "looking good" for WR CeeDee Lamb -- as well as WR KaVontae Turpin and G Tyler Booker -- to return for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders. We'll keep a close eye on Lamb's status throughout this week, and he'll carry some elevated risk in his first game back from a high-ankle sprain. But he'd be virtually impossible to keep out of fantasy lineups. Lamb checks in 4th in our initial Week 7 WR rankings.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. He officially didn’t practice all week, but it sounds like he ramped up his rehab work. Lamb should have a chance to make it back for Week 7, but we’ll keep you updated on his progress. WR KaVontae Turpin (foot) is also out for the Panthers game, leaving Jalen Tolbert and Ryan Flournoy as the No. 2 and 3 WRs.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Owner Jerry Jones said earlier this week that Lamb should be back within the next couple of weeks, but it's looking like it'll be a Week 7 return. WR KaVontae Turpin (foot) was also sidelined on Wednesday.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. He did rehab work off to the side throughout the week and is "progressing well,” HC Brian Schottenheimer said. We’ll see if Lamb can make it back for Week 6. Dallas will also be without WR KaVontae Turpin (foot) on Sunday. That leaves WRs Jalen Tolbert and Ryan Flournoy behind George Pickens. Expect Pickens and TE Jake Ferguson to dominate targets again.

Monday has delivered a slight range of outlooks on the return timeline for Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb. The wideout did suffer a high left ankle sprain in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Bears, and he's now expected to miss at least the next two games.

Cowboys WR Kavontae Turpin (neck) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He was knocked out of last week’s win over the Giants but will play vs. the Bears on Sunday. Turpin has handled six targets and four carries in less than two games this season. He’s not a fantasy option, but his availability doesn’t hurt QB Dak Prescott’s Week 3 outlook.

Cowboys WR Kavontae Turpin is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Giants with a neck injury. He was playing a significant role before exiting, catching all four of his targets for 47 yards and a score -- and running twice for six yards. We'll update Turpin's status when we know more.

Cowboys WR/RB/return specialist KaVontae Turpin finished a surprising second on the team in targets for Sunday's lopsided loss to the Lions. That was a little deceptive, though, as Turpin drew 4 of his 7 targets after QB Cooper Rush stepped in for Dak Prescott.

Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks will miss Sunday night's game vs. the Steelers and might be out beyond that due to a knee infection, ESPN's Todd Archer reports. Cooks had a procedure on the knee after the Week 4 win over the Giants and subsequently developed an infection.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott rebounded from a relative down week in the win at Carolina to hang 331 yards and 4 TD passes on the Commanders in Week 12. He did so while spreading the ball around more than usual. WR CeeDee Lamb led the way with 9 targets but posted just a 4-53-1 receiving line. WR Brandin Cooks snagged a 31-yard TD among his 4 receptions for 72 yards on 5 targets. The other two scores went to KaVontae Turpin from 34 yards out and RB Rico Dowdle on a 15-yard catch-and-run. The soft opponent certainly helped, but Prescott has now gone over 300 yards with 3+ TDs in four of his past five games. And his remaining schedule ranks third-best for QB scoring, with no truly worrisome spots. Prescott just might prove to be a league winner for 2023.
