Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
The Giants will release WR Kenny Golladay on March 15, the first day of the new league year, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The move will save the G-Men $6.7 million against the 2023 salary cap. It's a no-brainer after 2 disastrous seasons for Golladay in New York that produced a total of 43 catches, 602 yards and 1 TD. Golladay is still only 29 but has dealt with a plethora of injuries and appears to be out of gas. We'll see where Golladay lands on the open market, but he's not worth a pick in early best-ball drafts.
Giants WR Darius Slayton (illness) is active for today’s game vs. the Commanders. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday, adding some risk to his Week 13 fantasy profile. WR Kenny Golladay (illness) is inactive.
Giants WRs Wan’Dale Robinson (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (hamstring) are active for today’s game vs. the Lions. Robinson got in just 2 limited practices this week, adding risk to his fantasy profile. Golladay should be nowhere near fantasy lineups.
Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Lions. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday, sitting out on Thursday. HC Brian Daboll said Friday that he’s “optimistic” about Robinson’s chances of playing this weekend, but he’ll carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups. WR Kenny Golladay (hamstring) is also listed as questionable.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. It’ll be his first action since Week 4. Golladay totaled just 2 catches over the first 4 games of the season and isn’t a Week 10 fantasy option.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is expected to play vs. the Texans today and "receive significant playing time," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We still wouldn't put Golladay anywhere close to a fantasy lineup. He totaled 2 catches on 6 targets over the first 4 games of the season.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. It sounds like he’s on track to return for that one after going down in Week 4. But Golladay remains well off the fantasy radar.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay practiced Tuesday for the 1st time since suffering a knee injury Oct. 2 against the Bears. Barring a setback this week, the team expects to get him back for Sunday's game against the Texans. We'll see how big a role Golladay can reclaim. The last healthy game he played found Golladay staying on the field for just 33% of offensive snaps against the Cowboys in Week 3.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Marcus Johnson should again operate as New York’s top 3 WRs in that one.
Giants HC Brian Daboll told reporters Wednesday that WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) still aren't ready to practice, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. We'll see when/if their statuses change. EDGE Oshane Ximines (quad) also will miss Wednesday's practice.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. What else is new? Darius Slayton (26 routes), Marcus Johnson (26), Richie James (13) and Wan'Dale Robinson (12) operated as New York's top 4 WRs last week. Robinson is the only potential fantasy option -- and he's a risky play until we see his route rate climb.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) sat out practice Wednesday. Golladay has missed the past 2 games with his knee sprain, while Toney has lost 4 straight to hamstring issues. We'll see when -- or whether -- either guy factors back into this offense.
Giants WRs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. Both guys missed practice all week and don't look particularly close to returning.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. Neither guy seems likely to play vs. the Ravens this weekend.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) did not travel with the team to London and are out for Sunday morning's game vs. the Packers. Toney got in a limited practice on Wednesday but then didn't practice on Thursday. Golladay missed both days with his MCL sprain. We'll see if they can make it back for Week 6.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) were limited in Wednesday's practice. That gives them a shot to return for Sunday morning's game vs. the Packers. WRs Richie James (ankle) and Kenny Golladay (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay sprained his MCL in Week 4 and is not expected to play vs. the Packers in London on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Golladay, of course, is well off the fantasy radar. We'll see if the Giants get WRs Kadarius Toney and/or Wan'Dale Robinson back this week.
Giants WR Kenny Golladay injured his knee in Sunday's game vs. the Bears. HC Brian Daboll said Monday that it "doesn't look promising" for Golladay to play vs. the Packers on London this weekend. He shouldn't have been in your fantasy plans anyway, but the Giants are getting ridiculously thin at WR.
Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) are out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears. Neither guy practiced all week. With WR Sterling Shepard out with his torn ACL, the Giants are down to WRs Richie James, David Sills, Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton.
