The Vikings have placed QB J.J. McCarthy in the concussion protocol, per HC Kevin O’Connell. As of now, O'Connell says “it’s too early to tell” who’ll be under center for the Vikings in Week 13.

Vikings QB Carson Wentz will miss the rest of the season with a left shoulder injury that needs surgery, according to multiple reports. Wentz originally suffered the injury on Oct. 5 and has since been visibly bothered by it at points in every start.
