Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He’s ready to make his debut against the Chargers on Sunday. We’ll see how big a role the rookie plays, but he’s well off the fantasy radar right now.

Steelers QB Russell Wilson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. He was limited in practice all week. QB Justin Fields is fully expected to get another start. We’ll see if Wilson is available for backup duties.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. He put in three limited practices this week but evidently isn’t ready for game action. His absence should again leave workhorse duties to RB De’Von Achane, who racked up 22 carries and seven targets last week. RBs Jaylen Wright and Jeff Wilson will be active behind Achane but aren’t fantasy factors.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report for this weekend’s game vs. the Ravens. After sitting out on Wednesday, he put in a limited practice on Thursday and was a full-go on Friday. We’re not expecting the ankle to be an issue this weekend. Lamb remains a must-start.

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (knee) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so it looks like he’ll be ready for a full slate of snaps against the Ravens on Sunday. Ferguson is a top-10 TE play in that potential shootout.

Eagles WR A.J. Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints after missing practice all week. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 4. WR Jahan Dotson registered an 86% route rate with Brown out last week but saw just one target. He can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups.

Chargers WR Josh Palmer (calf, elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. He didn’t practice all week, so he’s likely on the bad side of 50/50. Palmer’s absence would likely mean more snaps for WRs Derius Davis and Simi Fehoko, but neither is a fantasy option. WRs Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey could pick up extra targets.

Texans WR Nico Collins (hip, foot) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He went from no practice on Wednesday to limited on Thursday to a full workout on Friday. Collins is ready to roll for this weekend’s game vs. the Vikings.

Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings after missing practice all week. RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) has been ruled out. That leaves RB Cam Akers as Houston's lead back. He had an impressive preseason coming off his second Achilles tear, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and ranking ninth among 108 qualifying RBs in Pro Football Focus' rushing grades. Akers should dominate Texans carries this weekend, although we expect him to lose passing-down snaps to RB Dare Ogunbowale.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. He avoided IR but is still looking at a multi-game absence. The Rams are down to Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, Jordan Whittington, and Tutu Atwell as their top four WRs. See where those guys land in our Week 3 Rankings.

Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Titans. He put in three limited practices this weekend. HC Matt LaFleur hinted Friday that Love still hasn’t been medically cleared to play. We’re still tentatively expecting QB Malik Willis to get another start on Sunday, but we’ll keep you updated on Love’s status.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Steelers. He practiced on Thursday or Friday but revealed Friday that he's dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Herbert said he's “getting better every day" but wouldn't guarantee that he'll play on Sunday. We'll look for further updates on his status and get Los Angeles' inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. But Herbert is not a QB1 option and is a shaky play even in 2-QB and superflex leagues.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (quad) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. Jefferson will be ready for his usual role in Sunday’s game vs. the Texans.

Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Eagles. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. We'll get New Orleans' inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. But Hill would be tough to trust in any fantasy lineup at less than 100%.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. His absence last week turned WR Jalen Nailor into a full-time player. He ran a route on 97% of pass plays, catching three of four targets for 54 yards and a score. He's in play as a WR4 in deep fantasy leagues.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. It's a downgrade from last week, when Allen was questionable on the final injury report before winding up inactive. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 4. His absence this weekend adds target upside to WRs D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze. We also saw TE Cole Kmet's routes and targets climb with Allen out last week.

Browns RB Pierre Strong (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Giants. He carried twice and saw three targets on a 24% snap rate in a healthy Week 1, so his absence leaves a few extra touches for RBs Jerome Ford and D'Onta Foreman.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Giants. He remained sidelined in practice all week and isn't a lock to be back for Week 4. Jordan Akins stepped in as Cleveland's lead TE last week but saw just one target on a 53% route rate. He's not a viable fantasy option.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Friday that he's "pessimistic" RB Raheem Mostert (chest) will play vs. the Seahawks this weekend. Mostert has put in two limited practices so far this week and hasn't been ruled out yet. But fantasy owners should start preparing to be without him again in Week 3. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report later today.

Jets RB Braelon Allen led the team with 55 rushing yards in Thursday night's win over the Patriots. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry on his 11 attempts. RB Breece Hall totaled 54 yards on his 16 carries (3.4 YPC). Allen flashed impressive acceleration and power throughout. He had a pair of 11-yard runs, and seven of his 11 runs went for 5+ yards. Allen also caught all three of his targets for 13 yards.
