Lions RB David Montgomery rushed 17 times for 73 yards in Sunday's win over Green Bay. He was held out of the end zone for only the second time all season.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Montgomery again edged Jahmyr Gibbs in shaps, this time by a count of 32-22. Rainy, windy conditions in Green Bay favored a ground and pound attack, and Montgomery held up well on 17 attempts.

Gibbs scored the Lions’ only rushing TD on a well-blocked run on 4th down from 15 yards out. Meanwhile, Montgomery handled all five of Detroit’s goal line carries.

Montgomery will remain a strong TD bet for next Sunday’s matchup in Houston. He retains a weekly RB2 outlook.
