Will Audric Estime Actually See More Work Going Forward?

Broncos HC Sean Payton said Monday that RB Audric Estime will get more work going forward. We got a similar report from CBS' Tracy Wolfson on Sunday morning. Estime finished the loss to the Ravens with five carries -- and those all came in the fourth quarter.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Estime is a fine stash in deeper fantasy leagues, but he'd need to work into at least an even timeshare with RB Javonte Williams before he's a legitimate fantasy option.

Williams is the bigger story here. If he starts losing more carries to Estime, he'll be tough to trust in fantasy lineups. He's already averaging just 11.3 carries per game, although that's climbed to 13.0 over his last six outings.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to put Williams on the trade block this week and see what kind of offers come in. We'd consider him just a RB3 or Flex play going forward.
