Why Not to Worry About Jalen Hurts

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw for an absurdly low 108 yards in Sunday's surprisingly narrow victory over the Panthers. But that included a pair of TD tosses. And Hurts added 59 yards with a TD plunge on the ground. He entered the late-afternoon Sunday games trailing only Sam Darnold among QB fantasy scorers.

It was a disappointing offensive effort for Philly against a bad Carolina defense, including a season-low in passing yards for Hurts.

But the QB also hit 2 TD passes for the first time in four games, despite attempting just 21 throws.

Hurts gets a tougher matchup with Pittsburgh in Week 15, before a fairly neutral matchup at Washington and then a high-upside spot vs. Dallas in Week 17.
