Borregales was widely considered as the top Kicker in the NFL Draft. He made 18 of 19 FGs this past season for Miami. He only missed a 45-yard FG. He also made all 62 XP attempts for Miami this past season. Borregales can hit long kicks; he has a career-long of 56 yards. He profiles as a potential top kicker, though may struggle moving from the beaches of Miami to the snow of New England.
Borregales has proven his consistency and big leg ability over the course of his career.
If he can adjust to an outdoor, cold weather stadium, then he could turn into a K1 in fantasy.
The Patriots offense will need to improve for that to happen, but QB Drake Maye gives them upside.
He is an intriguing last-round option if you wait on Kicker and want to swing for some upside.
Most likely just keep an eye for streaming opportunities.
Borregales isn't a K to invest in dynasty.
Until we see strong improvement from the Patriots offense, there will be better options on your waiver wire to invest in.
If Maye takes the next steps though, Borregales will have a shot to be a solid fantasy contributor with his consistency and accuracy.
