Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill recently had a second surgery on his wrist. It was a planned procedure to remove the screws placed in Hill's wrist back in February, according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques. Hill hurt his wrist last August and played the entire season with what HC Mike McDaniel described as a ligament issue.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
McDaniel said at the Combine that Hill would likely be sidelined until "around summertime going into training camp." It doesn't sound like this latest surgery will impact that timeline.
The missed reps this spring aren't a big deal for Hill, who's returning for his fourth season with McDaniel and QB Tua Tagovailoa. But we'll be keeping a close eye on his status leading into the start of training camp in late July.
Hill is coming off a disappointing WR18 PPR finish last year and has had a rocky offseason. The 31-year-old comes with plenty of risk in 2025 fantasy drafts — but that's largely baked into his late-second-round or early-third-round price tag.
Hill is a virtual lock to remain a big part of Miami's passing game, which keeps his floor elevated. And the ceiling still extends into the top five at his position.
