Giants WR Malik Nabers isn't expected to do much on-field work this spring as he continues to deal with a toe issue, HC Brian Daboll said Wednesday. The problem has lingered since Nabers' LSU days and landed him on the injury report in Week 17 last year. Nabers wound up playing that week — and torching the Colts for 171 yards and two TDs. He doesn't need surgery but will continue to rehab, Daboll added.
Certainly not what we want to hear about a first-round fantasy pick. Toe injuries can be especially tricky for skill-position players, impacting acceleration and cutting ability.
But Nabers has seemingly been managing the issue effectively for multiple years. And it clearly didn't impact his production in Week 17 last season.
We'll keep a close eye on him when Giants training camp opens. For now, we're not moving Nabers in the 2025 WR Rankings.
