49ers HC Kyle Shanahan gave a cautiously optimistic answer when asked Saturday whether WR Jauan Jennings will be ready for Week 1. "I expect him to be back, he should be back from it. But you never know with a calf," Shanahan said.
Jennings has been sidelined since late August with this calf issue. He's also still looking for a new contract, which may or may not be impacting his practice participation.
We'll see if he's able to get back on the field this coming week, but he's shaping up as a risky Week 1 fantasy start -- assuming he plays.
