Commanders WR Terry McLaurin caught 5 of 9 targets for 48 yards in Thursday night's loss to the Packers. It was an underwhelming fantasy outing -- but a step forward from the opener. McLaurin's route rate climbed from 89% in Week 1 to 92% in Week 2. And his target share jumped from 13.3% to 21.4%. The connection between QB Jayden Daniels and McLaurin looked better in this one. The biggest issue was a Packers defense that looks like the best in the league through two games.

It might be time to send a trade offer to the McLaurin owner in your league.
The slow start isn't a surprise after McLaurin's lengthy holdout this summer. But he looked better in Week 2 and drew a nice target share. Now he gets a mini bye week coming off this Thursday nighter before plus matchups against the Raiders and Falcons the next two weeks.
We like McLaurin's chances to have a big game in one of those next two. See if you can acquire him on the cheap before then. He still looks like a low-end WR2 with spike-week upside going forward.
