Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan tallied 6 catches for 73 yards in Sunday’s win over Miami. His 8 targets – a 26.6% team share – easily led the team.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
McMillan secured gains of 29 and 21 yards in the first half alone. The 21-yarder came on a scramble-drill play from Bryce Young, where he managed to dodge pressure just enough to fire the ball. The rookie hauled in an impressive diving grab.
McMillan’s length showed up throughout the day, both in his wingspan and his ability to quickly chew up yards on downfield routes. And an even bigger day nearly surfaced, as Carolina played from behind in the second half.
Young misfired on a sideline deep ball to McMillan, one where the WR had no chance to secure it. The second half also turned up a near reception on a separate downfield deep ball.
McMillan remains a volume-based WR2 with iffy TD upside. He's yet to score as a pro, while he's garnered only 16.7% of Carolina's red zone targets (per Pro Football Reference).
Meanwhile, it was Xavier Legette -- returning from a hamstring injury -- who scored Young's only passing TD. He made a strong diving grab in tight coverage, aided by strong placement from Young.
The second-year WR tallied a healthy 83% route rate, but he managed just a 13% target share. He remains a low-floor fantasy option.
