Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring) won't play vs. the Chiefs on Monday night, according to multiple reports. Daniels is dealing with a "low-grade hamstring strain," per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "Not a long-term injury but Commanders don't want to risk it," Fowler adds. It sounds like Daniels has a chance to be back for Week 9's game against the Seahawks, but it'll be QB Marcus Mariota back under center in Kansas City. He made two starts earlier this season, finishing QB6 against the Raiders and QB19 against the Falcons. It's a tough spot on Monday night, with Washington sporting an 18.5-point implied total vs. the Chiefs' fifth-ranked QB defense. That has Mariota sitting outside the top-12 in the Week 8 QB rankings.
