The Falcons placed LB Divine Deablo on IR ahead of Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. That means his forearm fracture will cost at least three more games. Week 12 at New Orleans will be the first time Deablo's eligible to return.
What They're Saying
DC Jeff Ulbrich on replacing Deablo: "As we all know, he's very unique in the fact that he is -- from an athletic profile standpoint -- very DB-ish. From a size standpoint, he's very linebacker. So, we're going to replace him with some DBs at times, and we'll replace him with some linebackers at times."
Ulbrich on Bertrand more specifically: "He's going to get a great opportunity to play some more. There's some other guys, too, that are going to step in and do some of what Divine does."

The first game without Deablo found Bertrand playing 68 of Atlanta's 69 defensive snaps.
LB/S Ronnie Harrison also saw his first action of the season for the Falcons. And S Jordan Fuller returned for the first time since getting hurt in Week 1.
We'll probably have to wait at least one more game to actually see how much of that is related to Deablo's absence. But Bertrand's most clearly tied to Deablo.
He has posted 10 and 9 total tackles the past two weeks, plus a pass defensed against the Dolphins.
Bertrand mades sense this week as a pickup in tackle-friendly IDP formats.
