2026 NFL Mock Draft Seven Rounds: Get the Edge Before Everyone Else

The 2026 NFL Draft is shaping up to make a BIG impact -- especially at QB. But will your future picks lose their shine if the skill positions flop?

2026 NFL Mock Draft Seven Rounds: Get the Edge Before Everyone Else

Wanna Get Ahead of Your League Mates?

Trading 2026 rookie picks feels like a roll of the dice. Will next year be a strong skill position class? Will certain be positions be stronger or weaker?

Analysts will spout off about the strengths and weaknesses of a class, but putting it in context of other positions helps predict draft capital.

Plus many of those analysts haven't even watched these players.

        I have.

Why You Should Listen to Me

Next year will mark the 23rd NFL Draft I have scouted and covered. I've been producing seven-round mock drafts and rankings since 2004.

Anyone can sling out a new mock draft. I bring top-10 accuracy in Big Board projection (better than Mel Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah, and Lance Zierlein). I've even won the contest twice (only seven people have ever been multi-year winners).

If you want to know where players wiil go in the NFL Draft, cutting through the noise of the buzz, this is the place.

The goal this far out isn't pure accuracy, though. I want to help you get familiar with players, traits, and potential draft capital.

Our devy rankings outline the upside of this class against 2027 and 2028 as well.

Getting insight on these potential players, well before the NFL Draft gives you a distinct advantage over your league.

        TIP

Use our Trade Value Chart to gauge the value of a 2026 1st

        Round 1

        1) Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Mendoza won the Heisman on an incredible undefeated season. His ball placement and toughness place him on top of the draft (and he isn’t afraid to scramble). He may not have the upside of recent first overall picks like Trevor Lawrence and Caleb Williams, but Mendoza could be a solid fantasy contributor with the right offense around him (having Brock Bowers certainly may help).

        2) New York Giants: Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State

The Giants would likely look to trade down from this spot without great defensive options of need. Reese played MLB for the Buckeyes, but his tenacious pass rush will earn him a Micah Parsons-type comparison as an Edge rusher. That certainly isn’t a Giants need after investing multiple first-round picks into the position (along with Brian Burns), but Reese could play a LB role for them depending on the defense.

        3) New York Jets: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Dante Moore has flashed No. 1 overall potential and could even challenge Mendoza for that spot if he declares. His cool demeanor under pressure makes him an ideal candidate to step into a rough situation. He has clean footwork and good enough tools to be a top fantasy QB as well. The Jets could be an intriguing setup for him if they add more weapons.

        4) Tennessee Titans: Keldric Faulk, Edge, Auburn

Faulk gives the Titans a young, versatile pass rush piece who can play inside or outside. His size and strength would complement Justin Simmons and help build the Titans front.

        5) Arizona Cardinals: T.J. Parker, Edge, Clemson

The Cardinals lack any top pass rushing options, so it must be top priority for them. Parker’s burst off the line is incredible and makes him very difficult to stop. Strong workouts should make him a potential top five option in the draft.

        6) Cleveland Browns: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

The Browns may opt to try and move up for a QB, but if they stay put, offensive playmakers are a priority. Tyson missed much of 2025 with a hamstring injury, but he flashed an elite skillset after the catch before going down with the injury. Her scored 7 TDs in the first 5 games of the season despite opposing teams knowing he would be the focus. A versatile slot and outside WR, he would be the Browns new No. 1.

        7) Washington Commanders: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

Caleb Downs may be the best player in the draft, but the Safety position isn’t as valued as it once was. A cerebral playmaker with the athleticism to be disruptive, Downs would play a Kyle Hamilton type of role to strengthen the Commanders’ secondary.

        8) New Orleans Saints: Rueben Bain, Edge, Miami (FL)

Bain has been getting top-three hype in this class, but short arms could make teams think twice before taking him. The Saints have always followed the beat of their own drum and could opt to bring in more pass rush to keep their defense a strength.

        9) Kansas City Chiefs: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

The Chiefs priority should be to continue helping Patrick Mahomes. Replacing Travis Kelce may be high on the priority list, and Sadiq is an excellent addition. Not only does he have the savvy route running that is required in an Andy Reid offense, but Sadiq’s athleticism and high-pointing are unmatched in this class. He could be an immediate impact rookie TE.

        10) Cincinnati Bengals: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (FL)

The Bengals need defense, but continuing to bolster the O-line in front of Joe Burrow has to remain a priority. Mauigoa’s monster frame likely fits better inside to give them a great pass blocker in the interior who could kick out to OT if needed.

        11) Miami Dolphins: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

If the Dolphins can’t get one of the top QBs, then they will want to set up whoever the future is for success. Fano has been a rock solid OT who can play inside or outside. His clean footwork and kick slide make him a potential starter as a rookie.

        12) Los Angeles Rams (f/ Atlanta Falcons): Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

The Rams certainly could move up for a QB with multiple first-round picks, but they could opt for a best player available approach if not. CB might be the weakest part of the defense, and McCoy has the lock down ability to develop into a No. 1 CB.

        13) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: David Bailey, Edge, Texas Tech

The Bucs need to get to the QB better so investing in a top pass rusher makes sense in the middle of the first round. Bailey led the Power-5 conferences with 13.5 sacks so far this season. His variety of pass rush moves and stand up potential makes him an intriguing add.

        14) Dallas Cowboys: Zion Young, Edge, Missouri

The Cowboys do need to replace Micah Parsons in some way, and Young could be a step in that direction. He is massive with long arms that can keep OTs off of him. Along with good burst and closing speed, Young hasn’t even reached his full potential yet.

        15) Detroit Lions: Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

The Lions don’t have many glaring holes at first glance, but keeping the O-line strong will be important. There is an out on Taylor Decker if the Lions want to take it and replace him with Proctor, or develop Proctor for a year and have him take over in 2027.

        16) Baltimore Ravens: Peter Woods, DL, Clemson

The Ravens defense took a step back, so grabbing an interior lineman who can rush the passer like Woods could help bolster both the run and pass defense. He can be a versatile piece that brings the Ravens run defense back to elite.

        17) Minnesota Vikings: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

There will be much debate about where Jeremiyah Love will come off the board. He isn’t quite the prospect Ashton Jeanty was, but a team could spend a top-10 pick on him. With Jordan Mason struggling late and Aaron Jones getting older, Love would be the perfect way to help J.J. McCarthy. A strong runner who can also catch the football, Love could immediately be a 250+ touch runner as a rookie.

        18) New York Jets (f/ Indianapolis Colts): Makai Lemon, WR, USC

The Jets need WR help. Garrett Wilson will likely lead the team in receiving in 2025 with only 395 yards receiving, having not caught a pass since October 12th. If the Jets do get a new rookie QB, getting him help is required. Lemon is an outstanding after the catch WR with a robust route tree. His ability to win one-on-one CB match-ups required Safety help often this year. He could play opposite Wilson giving the team a deadly duo of WRs.

        19) Carolina Panthers: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

The Panthers' offense needs a jolt, but they are still developing their young talent. Another CB to keep the pass defense strong would help keep game close, and Delane has showed starter ability at multiple schools.

        20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

The Steelers' weakness was exposed with D.K. Metcalf out for two games at the end of the season: they need a No. 2 WR. Tate has experience playing second fiddle to Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, but Tate’s physicality and body control made him a great weapon. He has some George Pickens to his game, and the Steelers could use that for whatever QB they end of grabbing.

        21) Dallas Cowboys (f/ Green Bay Packers): Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

The Cowboys should continue to prioritize defense and another CB should help the secondary. Terrell gives up a big play every now and again, but he is an aggressive playmaker who can close quickly when he is behind a step. He would fit well in Dallas.

        22) Los Angeles Chargers: LT Overton, DL, Alabama

The Chargers still need to beef up their DL for a more consistent run defense. Overton sets the edge well and has some pass rush ability from the interior as well. He is an unexciting pick, but one that should keep the Chargers defense formidable.

        23) Philadelphia Eagles: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo

The Eagles dip back into the Toledo Rockets for another member of their secondary. After the success of Quinyon Mitchell, getting a versatile safety who can play the slot or deep would add another element to the pass defense. McNeil-Warren has great range and can be a solid man cover DB who can make INTs.

        24) Buffalo Bills: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

The Bills desperately need more weapons and Concepcion is an intriguing one. He has Percy Harvin like ability to be a unique offensive weapon who can play in the slot, back field, and even run routes outside. Giving Josh Allen a weapon who can create yards after the catch should be a high priority.

        25) Chicago Bears: Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon

The Bears dealt with tons of defensive injuries this year, but Thieneman could replace C.J. Gardner-Johnson as a do-it-all DB who can create turnovers. Thieneman has been one of the top Safeties since he was a true freshman and is just too talented to not get on the field.

        26) Houston Texans: Kage Casey, OT, Boise State

The Texans drafted Aireontae Ersery last year and he has been plugged into the LT spot. Casey gives versatility to play RT or kick inside and add a solid run blocker to the interior. He is technique driven with enough suddeness to give athletic pass rushers a problem.

        27) Los Angeles Rams: Kayden McDonald, DL, Ohio State

The Rams found a gem in Kobie Turner, but adding a pass rushing NT like McDonald would be a major upgrade to the defensive front. McDonald has been a dominant force in the middle of the Buckeyes DL, allowing pass rushers to get free.

        28) Cleveland Browns (f/ Jacksonville Jaguars): Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

The Browns could certainly use an upgrade at RT and Lomu would be a plug and play option. His long arms and good footwork should fit with setting the edge for the Browns’ run game.

        29) San Francisco 49ers: Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern

Trent Brown continues being good for the 49ers, but it will be time for a succession plan very soon. Tiernan dominated some of the Big Ten’s best pass rushers this year and would fit into the zone blocking scheme for the 49ers.

        30) New England Patriots: Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

The Patriots need more weapons for MVP Drake Maye. Boston flashed No. 1 WR potential, though his consistency leaves a little to be desired. Getting a 6’4 WR who can play the X role with a wider route tree could really reshape how defenses defend the Patriots.

        31) Denver Broncos: Caleb Banks, DL, Florida

The Broncos had a strong defense, but finding more depth along the DL to stop the run wouldn’t hurt keep it atop the NFL. Banks gives a NT option who can kick to a DE position if needed.

        32) Seattle Seahawks: Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee

The Seahawks secondary struggled at times this season despite an overall strong output. Hood fits the bill as a press CB who can turn and run smoothly.

        Round 2

        33) Las Vegas Raiders: A'Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon

        34) New York Giants: Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

        35) New York Jets: Malik Muhammad, CB, Texas

        36) Tennessee Titans: Chris Bell, WR, Louisville

Chris Bell had an excellent year with Louisville and can replace Calvin Ridley as a top WR for the squad. The Titans should prioritize supporting Cam Ward.

        37) Arizona Cardinals: Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

Ty Simpson may return to school, but if not, he is worth a second round pick. If the Cardinals move on from Kyler Murray, they should opt for an accurate passer with a good pedigree.

        38) Cleveland Browns: Jayden Maiava, QB, USC

Maiava isn’t getting much publicity yet, but his experience and throwing on the run makes sense for the Browns. He would fit HC Kevin Stefanski’s offense and give a minor rushing boost for fantasy output.

        39) Houston Texans (f/ Washington Commanders): Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

Woody Marks had a good year, but adding another RB may be a priority if Joe Mixon can’t return. Price took a backseat to Jeremiyah Love, but Price is the home run threat. His dynamic outside running should compliment the other RBs.

        40) New Orleans Saints: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

Bernard carried the Alabama passing game at times this year and likely fits better as a No. 2 to Chris Olave than the main guy in the NFL. His smooth route running would help Tyler Shough develop.

        41) Atlanta Falcons: Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana

Sarratt is a physical WR with good hands who could replace the disappointing Darnell Mooney. If the Falcons are set on Michael Penix, getting more weapons could be a priority.

        42) Kansas City Chiefs: Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington

Coleman’s open field abilities makes him a top-50 option. He can catch passes and carry a full load. The Chiefs really need to prioritize the RB position and Coleman could be an every down player for them.

        43) Cincinnati Bengals: AJ Haulcy, S, LSU

        44) Miami Dolphins: Matayo Uiagalelei, Edge, Oregon

        45) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt

Stowers is a QB convert to TE whose explosion and athleticism make him an intriguing weapon. Cade Otton has been fine, but the Bucs could add Stowers as a replacement down the line.

        46) New York Jets (f/ Dallas Cowboys): Cashius Howell, Edge, Texas A&M

        47) Detroit Lions: Gabe Jacas, Edge, Illinois

        48) Baltimore Ravens: Quincy Rhodes, Edge, Arkansas

        49) Minnesota Vikings: D'Angelo Ponds, CB, Indiana

        50) Indianapolis Colts: Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

        51) Carolina Panthers: Cayden Green, IOL, Missouri

        52) Pittsburgh Steelers: Carter Smith, OT, Indiana

        53) Green Bay Packers: Christen Miller, DL, Georgia

        54) Los Angeles Chargers: Emmanuel Pregnon, IOL, Oregon

        55) Philadelphia Eagles: Max Klare, TE, Ohio State

If the Eagles move on from Dallas Goedert, they will need to prioritize TE. Klare fits the offense as a pass blocker with soft hands who knows how to get open. He struggled a bit with the Buckeyes this year, but he would fit as a red zone option for the Eagles.

        56) Buffalo Bills: Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas

        57) Chicago Bears: Emmett Johnson, RB, Nebraska

Johnson carried the Nebraska offense with great vision and a low center of gravity. His contact balance makes him a good fit for Ben Johnson’s offense and a potential long term pairing with Kyle Monangai.

        58) Houston Texans: Dominique Orange, DL, Iowa State

        59) Los Angeles Rams: John Mateer, QB, Oklahoma

        60) Jacksonville Jaguars: Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina

        61) San Francisco 49ers: Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

        62) New England Patriots: Isaiah World, OT, Oregon

        63) Denver Broncos: CJ Allen, LB, Georgia

        64) Seattle Seahawks: Olaivavega Ioane, IOL, Penn State

        Round 3

        65) Las Vegas Raiders: Kamari Ramsey, S, USC

        66) Houston Texans (f/ New York Giants): Logan Jones, IOL, Iowa

        67) Philadelphia Eagles (f/ New York Jets): R Mason Thomas, Edge, Oklahoma

        68) Tennessee Titans: Justice Haynes, RB, Michigan

Haynes has the size to be a two-down back with acceleration to be a starter. Haynes could work alongside Tony Pollard for a year before taking over.

        69) Arizona Cardinals: Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, USC

Lane was the second fiddle to Makai Lemon, but his size and downfield ability makes him an intriguing slot weapon for the Cardinals

        70) Cleveland Browns: Chase Bisontis, IOL, Texas A&M

        71) Washington Commanders: Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn State

Singleton has elite athleticism but disappointed as a runner overall. He has NFL starter upside, but will need developed in his vision a bit more. The Commanders could be a great spot to ascend the depth chart.

        72) New Orleans Saints: Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State

        73) Atlanta Falcons: Whit Weeks, LB, LSU

        74) Kansas City Chiefs: Will Lee III, CB, Texas A&M

        75) Cincinnati Bengals: Dani Dennis-Sutton, Edge, Penn State

        76) Miami Dolphins: Chandler Rivers, CB, Duke

        77) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jaishawn Barham, LB, Maryland

        78) Pittsburgh Steelers (f/ Dallas Cowboys): Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU

The Steelers will likely take a shot on some rookie QB, even if they sign one. Nussmeier’s injuries could knock him down further, but he works well within structure and has a solid arm.

        79) Jacksonville Jaguars (f/ Detroit Lions): Tyreak Sapp, Edge, Florida

        80) Baltimore Ravens: Scooby Williams, LB, Texas A&M

        81) Minnesota Vikings: Bud Clark, S, TCU

        82) Indianapolis Colts: Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee

Brazzell’s size and speed combo would make him an ideal Alec Pierce replacement. His ball skills to high point contested catches will be prioritized by some teams.

        83) Carolina Panthers: Keyron Crawford, Edge, LSU

        84) Pittsburgh Steelers: Xavier Scott, S, Illinois

        85) Green Bay Packers: Keionte Scott, CB, Miami (FL)

        86) Los Angeles Chargers: Blake Miller, OT, Clemson

        87) Miami Dolphins (f/ Philadelphia Eagles): Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson

Williams has had a solid career for Clemson, but is pretty unexciting. He has outstanding catches followed by long stretches of being unable to get open. Being next to Jaylen Waddle may help Williams unlock his potential.

        88) Buffalo Bills: Tacario Davis, CB, Washington

        89) Chicago Bears: Lee Hunter, DL, Texas Tech

        90) Miami Dolphins (f/ Houston Texans): Carson Beck, QB, Miami (FL)

Beck has had a volatile season, but he is the type of QB who someone will take a chance on. The Dolphins may take a shot on a QB to compete with Quinn Ewers, and Bck would be a safe option.

        91) Los Angeles Rams: Austin Barber, OT, Florida

        92) Jacksonville Jaguars: Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State

Allen outproduced Nicholas Singleton this year. He is a between the tackles runner who plays with a low pad level and can bring the boom to defenders. He would compliment Bhayshul Tuten well.

        93) San Francisco 49ers: Cameron Ball, DL, Arkansas

        94) New England Patriots: Suntarine Perkins, LB, Mississippi

        95) Denver Broncos: Jack Endries, TE, Texas

        96) Seattle Seahawks: Bray Hubbard, S, Alabama

        97) Minnesota Vikings (Compensatory Selection): Anthony Smith, DL, Minnesota

        98) Pittsburgh Steelers (Compensatory Selection): Elijah Pritchett, OT, Alabama

        99) Philadelphia Eagles (Compensatory Selection): Jake Slaughter, IOL, Florida

        100) Jacksonville Jaguars (from Lions - Compensatory Selection): Lance Heard, OT, Tennessee

        Round 4

        101) Las Vegas Raiders: Alex Harkey, OT, Oregon

        102) New York Giants: Barion Brown, WR, LSU

        103) New York Jets: Rayshaun Benny, DL, Michigan

        104) Tennessee Titans: Caden Curry, LB, Ohio State

        105) Arizona Cardinals: Dametrious Crownover, OT, Texas A&M

        106) Cleveland Browns: Anto Saka, Edge, Northwestern

        107) Houston Texans (f/ Washington Commanders): Harold Perkins, LB, LSU

        108) Denver Broncos (f/ New Orleans Saints): Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor

        109) Atlanta Falcons: Jalen McMurray, CB, Tennessee

        110) Kansas City Chiefs: Tim Keenan III, DL, Alabama

        111) Cincinnati Bengals: Darrell Jackson Jr., DL, Florida State

        112) Miami Dolphins: Isaac Smith, S, Mississippi State

        113) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Parker Brailsford, IOL, Alabama

        114) Dallas Cowboys: Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech

        115) Detroit Lions: Keith Abney II, CB, Arizona State

        116) Baltimore Ravens: Bryce Lance, WR, North Dakota State

        117) Las Vegas Raiders (f/ Minnesota Vikings): Keylan Rutledge, IOL, Georgia Tech

        118) Indianapolis Colts: Oscar Delp, TE, Georgia

        119) Carolina Panthers: Deontae Lawson, LB, Alabama

        120) Pittsburgh Steelers: Sam Hecht, IOL, Kansas State

        121) Green Bay Packers: Demond Claiborne, RB, Wake Forest

        122) Los Angeles Chargers: Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson

        123) Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Singleton Jr., WR, Georgia Tech

        124) Buffalo Bills: Roman Hemby, RB, Indiana

        125) New England Patriots (f/ Chicago Bears): Joshua Josephs, Edge, Tennessee

        126) Houston Texans: Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor

        127) Chicago Bears (f/ Los Angeles Rams): Dontay Corleone, DL, Cincinnati

        128) Jacksonville Jaguars: Keanu Tanuvasa, DL, Utah

        129) San Francisco 49ers: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

        130) New England Patriots: Joe Royer, TE, Cincinnati

        131) Denver Broncos: Michael Taaffe, S, Texas

        132) New Orleans Saints (f/ Seattle Seahawks): Jamarion Miller, RB, Alabama

        133) Pittsburgh Steelers (Compensatory Selection): TJ Hall, CB, Iowa

        134) Detroit Lions (Compensatory Selection): Derrick Moore, Edge, Michigan

        135) Las Vegas Raiders (Compensatory Selection): Malachi Fields, WR, Notre Dame

        136) Philadelphia Eagles (Compensatory Selection): LJ Martin, RB, BYU

        137) San Francisco 49ers (Compensatory Selection): Tanner Koziol, TE, Houston

        138) New Orleans Saints (Compensatory Selection): Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F. Austin

        139) San Francisco 49ers (Compensatory Selection): Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

        Round 5

        140) Cleveland Browns (f/ Las Vegas Raiders): Beau Stephens, IOL, Iowa

        141) New York Giants: Zakee Wheatley, S, Penn State

        142) Tennessee Titans (f/ New York Jets): Treydan Stukes, CB, Arizona

        143) Tennessee Titans: Connor Lew, IOL, Auburn

        144) Arizona Cardinals: Mike Washington, RB, Arkansas

        145) Cleveland Browns: Lake McRee, TE, USC

        146) Washington Commanders: Jack Pyburn, Edge, LSU

        147) New Orleans Saints: DJ Campbell, IOL, Texas

        148) Philadelphia Eagles (f/ Atlanta Falcons): Zane Durant, DL, Penn State

        149) Kansas City Chiefs: Jeremiah Wright, OT, Auburn

        150) Cleveland Browns (f/ Cincinnati Bengals): Chris McClellan, DL, Missouri

        151) Miami Dolphins: Grace Halton, DL, Oklahoma

        152) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bryson Eason, DL, Tennessee

        153) Dallas Cowboys: Seth McGowan, RB, Kentucky

        154) Detroit Lions: Sam Roush, TE, Stanford

        155) Baltimore Ravens: Keon Sabb, S, Alabama

        156) Carolina Panthers (f/ Minnesota Vikings): Kenyatta Jackson, Edge, Ohio State

        157) Indianapolis Colts: Diego Pavia, QB, Vanderbilt

        158) Carolina Panthers: Fernando Carmona, OT, Arkansas

        159) Pittsburgh Steelers: Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma

        160) Green Bay Packers: Romello Brinson, WR, SMU

        161) Baltimore Ravens (f/ Los Angeles Chargers): Deven Eastern, DL, Minnesota

        162) Minnesota Vikings (f/ Philadelphia Eagles): Gennings Dunker, OT, Iowa

        163) Buffalo Bills: Amare Ferrell, S, Indiana

        164) Chicago Bears: Trey Zuhn, OT, Texas A&M

        165) Houston Texans: Romello Height, Edge, Texas Tech

        166) Los Angeles Rams: Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia State
