Sean Tucker's Success Leads to a Larger Role

Buccaneers RB Sean Tucker earned a larger role for the Buccaneers going 12-42-1 on the ground with no targets. RB Rachaad White was still the lead back, but only mustered 13-35-0, though he did catch both his targets for 26 yards. White was struggling early leading to Tucker getting some snaps and showcasing his ability. If RB Bucky Irving misses more time, Tucker and White could split carries.

2025 Fantasy Football Impact

White played 57.1% of snaps while Tucker played 35.7%, but it was early ineffectiveness that led to Tucker getting more work. 11 of White’s 13 rushes were in the first half. They turned to Tucker in the second half with White only getting 14 snaps and 2 carries.

Tucker carried the ball 7 times in the second half.

Irving could return after the Bucs’ Week 9 bye, but he still has not practiced since his foot and shoulder injuries. If he doesn’t play, expect Tucker to get more work at the start of the game.

They have a negative RB match-up against the Patriots in Week 10 followed by a positive one against the Bills in Week 11.

Dynasty Impact

Tucker likely sticks well down the depth chart long term, but he continues to flash when given an opportunity. He is worth stashing just in case Tucker gets an opportunity next year.
