Broncos WR Troy Franklin managed just 4 receptions for 27 yards in Sunday's matchup with a tough Houston defense. But he drew a team-high 10 targets, beating No. 2 Courtland Sutton by four. That marked the third straight game of 8+ targets for Franklin after he averaged 6.0 targets per game through the first six weeks.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Franklin drew 29.4% of Bo Nix's targeted passes in the win over Houston. He has garnered a 25.5% target share over the past three games. That's well up from a 17% target share over the first six weeks, according to Fantasy Points Data.
Franklin has turned that into just 13 catches over the past three weeks and has exceeded 35 yards only once in the past five contests.
The second-year wideout gets a much more favorable matchup with the Raiders in week 10. The comes a home date with the Chiefs, a Week 12 bye, and then positive matchups with the Commanders and Raiders again.
If Nix can improve his consistency, Franklin could perform like a WR3 for fantasy the rest of the way.
