Colts RB Jonathan Taylor had his worst fantasy output of the season with a 14-45-0 stat line on the ground and catching his only two targets for 12 yards. The Steelers' defense loaded the box, forcing QB Daniel Jones to beat them. The Colts leaned on the pass, throwing the ball 50 times.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Jones threw for 342 yards on 31 completions with a TD and 3 INTs. He did have a rushing TD as well. That helped prop up the WRs. Michael Pittman went 9-115-0 while Alec Pierce went 6-115-0. Those two combined for 25 targets. Josh Downs went 6-57-1 on 9 targets.
The Steelers' defense has been generally poor, but they have stepped up against RB1s over the past two weeks. Josh Jacobs only mustered 33 yards rushing in Week 8, and now Taylor had 45. They have actually only allowed one 100-yard rusher over the past six games, Chase Brown in Week 7.
Despite the low fantasy total, Taylor remains one of the best backs in the NFL and a good bet for consistent fantasy production. He does have the 6th hardest RB fantasy schedule over the rest of the season. He does have a tough fantasy playoff schedule against the Seahawks, 49ers, and Jaguars as well.
