2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Metchie's first opportunity to contribute came last week. He led the Jets in snaps (47) and ran the second-most routes (24) in New York's receiving corps. His 3 catches and 45 receiving yards also led the team.
In Week 12, Metchie's role grew larger.
He played 51-of-59 snaps (86.4%) and led the team with 31 routes. He tied for the team lead with 7 targets and posted his best receiving line of the season.
Metchie's TD was a 13-yarder in the first quarter that gave the Jets a 7-0 lead. Metchie was lined up in the slot to the left and ran an out. QB Tyrod Taylor hit him in stride, and Metchie was able to dive through the pylon.
In August, Metchie was traded to the Eagles for a pick swap. He caught 4 balls in 7 games with Philadelphia before he was traded again to the Jets.
He debuted with the Jets in Week 10 and has gotten off to an encouraging start. If the Jets stick with Tyrod Taylor, Metchie could play his way into weekly flex territory.
